Black Mirror 2 takes place in the 1990’s, twelve years after the first episode. Solitary Darren, hero of Black Mirror 2, meets cute Angelina while he is working at the local photo shop of Biddeford, a small town in New England. Angelina immediately understands to catch the eye of Darren´s despotic, unpopular boss. To add the mystery, there seems to be a third person interested in Angelina – Darren sees someone chasing her. He decides to investigate these incidents. His researches will soon lead him to several locations – such as the small English village of Willow Creek, that adventure game players know from part #1…

Windchaser Artwork 01The green lands are peppered with windmills, a strong gust pulling at their wings – everywhere trees and fields are swaying in the breeze. Majestically, an air-sailing ship floats high above the ground: on board, fighters in heavy armor are trained and last preparations for battle made. Long at peace, a storm is brewing over the fantasy world of Ensai and its wide grassland oceans.

Windchaser Artwork 02The last conflict that ravaged Ensai turned the old civilizations of the world and their achievements into rubble. A weapon of never before seen power swept over the people of Ensai – numerous ruins still serve as a stark reminder of the destruction visited upon the world. Slowly, societies rebuilt and fused the power of the old magical artefacts with modern technology to create a unique combination. The flourishing cities of the new age trade goods with the help of air-sailing ships of all shapes and sizes that sail across the grasslands of Ensai.

Windchaser Artworks 03In the new real-time tactical game Windchaser, players assume leadership of one of Ensai’s guilds and take command of one of the mighty sailing ships that serve as mobile headquarters. On board, the player recruits new fighters, who level up as they gain battle experience, and stores collected artefacts. A multitude of upgrades allow players to customize and reinforce their ship throughout the game. Soon they will have to get it battle-ready, as a new conflict is on the horizon: Religious quarrels and competition among the guilds threaten to escalate.

Windchaser will be released in the first quarter of 2008.

So Blonde: Get Stranded with Newly Announced ANACONDA Adventure Game.

Screenshot So Blonde 01She is young, she is pretty and she comes from rich parents: Sunny Blonde has little to worry about in her life. Especially not today: the 17-year-old American beauty is on a luxurious Atlantic cruise with her parents, celebrating their wedding anniversary. But it’s not really a party after Sunny’s taste – she’d rather be getting down with her friends. That’s why she uses every chance she gets to get away from her parents and explore the ship. Just when the ship passes by the Bermuda Islands, the inevitable occurs: a heavy thunderstorm rolls in, the cruise ship is overwhelmed by the sea. Sunny passes out and is transported into one of the vessel’s lifeboats…

Sunny comes to on a gorgeous sandy beach on an island covered with palm trees. She can barely recall what happened. Still slightly dazed, she does register that there are no other passengers anywhere near – she seems to be stranded on the island all by herself.

Screenshot So Blonde 02But an involuntary stay on a completely unfamiliar island, with no way of knowing how she will ever leave it, is one thing. More severe for Sunny is that all of a sudden she will have to make do without all her luxurious accessories: her cell phone gets no coverage, her make-up is all messed up, and there doesn’t appear to be a shopping mall in walking distance. And her troubles are only getting started: through some freak of time and space, she seems to have been transported several centuries back and landed in the middle of an age ruled by pirates and buccaneers.

Quite a problem for Sunny Blonde – and it’s up to PC gamers to solve it in the crazy adventure game So Blonde, which dtp entertainment unveiled today. Renowned adventure game writer Steve Ince (“Broken Sword”) is responsible for the game’s unusual story. Gamers will not only be faced with adventure and puzzling riddles but will see the protagonist grow from rich, spoiled luxury girl to a courageous survivor.

So Blonde, developed by French team Wizarbox, has it all: a beautiful (anti-)heroine, jet black humor that goes far beyond trite clichés, gorgeous cartoon graphics and a ton of gameplay surprises.

We will publish So Blonde worldwide, with a November release date set for German-speaking territories.

Gray Matter: Dread Hill House

screenshot_gray_matter01For a long time, nobody has entered the walls of Dread Hill House. Since the death of his wife in an accident, neurobiologist Dr. Styles has been living reclusively in the English manor. Now four new pieces of artwork show off insides and outsides of the central location of Jane Jensen’s new adventure game Gray Matter.

screenshot_gray_matter02The gothic-romantic mansion near Oxford University was built in the 19th century. Since his wife’s death, once renowned Dr. David Styles has become a hermit in the spacious house. The grand foyer is richly decorated with old and expensive furnishings, but it also shows signs of neglect. Young Samantha Everett first enters Dread Hill House here. By chance the American turns up on the Doctor’s doorstep, just as he is looking for an assistant. Without further ado, the inquisitive street performer lands the job and is tasked with finding volunteers for Styles’ new experiment.

In the manor’s basement, Styles has set up a cutting-edge laboratory. The large lab room house six beds, equipped to measure the test subjects’ brain activity. Sam recruits six students from the nearby university that volunteer to take part in an unusual experiment on hypnosis. The tests start out harmless enough – but soon unexplainable things occur at Oxford’s campus…
